Overview
Step into a monumental moment in opera history as Teatro alla Scala unveils a breathtaking new production of Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen.
This marks the theater’s first complete Ring Cycle in a decade, guided by the visionary direction of David McVicar, whose artistic brilliance has shaped La Scala’s stage across a diverse repertoire. The journey begins a new, immersing audiences in Wagner’s mythological world of gods, heroes, and destiny.
Renowned Wagnerian voices lead this unparalleled experience – Michael Volle as the formidable Wotan, Camilla Nylund as the fearless Brünnhilde, and Klaus Florian Vogt in the dual roles of Siegmund and Siegfried. With each opera building toward the climactic Götterdämmerung, this first cycle offers an exclusive opportunity to witness the grandeur of Wagner’s full vision within a single week, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the Ring'soriginal premiere.
This extraordinary journey is elevated by carefully curated details that define our tours. We will once again stay at the iconic Hotel Casa Baglioni, a cherished part of our tradition, offering an experience of timeless elegance and historic significance that complements the grandeur of Wagner’s epic.

We've done close to a dozen trips with The Aranis and I think I've seen enough to say it: they make it look easy. They've got the energy and sense of purpose to make it so the pieces all click together at the joints, and the tact to make you think they're having fun doing it, which means you have fun; perhaps they do too. We've got many fond memories of our trips with them and we look forward to more.
