We have been traveling to Europe for the last 42 years; our team dedicates significant time to researching restaurants and has discovered what we believe is the best in each city, chosen for their exquisite regional cuisine, ambiance, and gracious service. Many of these are "hidden gems" not typically frequented by tourists. Occasionally, we dine in historic or Michelin-starred restaurants renowned for their excellence. We are generous with our menus and wines. Meals usually consist of 3-5 courses, depending on the time of day and portion size, and typically offer choices for each course. We cater to all dietary concerns. Wines at most meals are pre-selected by HAT Tours and represent what we believe are the finest local varietals, ensuring quality. Our team has been professionally trained in the hospitality industry and knows gastronomy and beverage.

Our hotels are primarily 5-star (with occasional 4-star) properties, meticulously researched, inspected, and consistently highly rated and recommended. We favor small luxury hotels over large chain properties. Our hotel selections are based on their elegance, charm, ideal location, spacious and high-quality rooms, warm and efficient staff, and the overall experience they offer. We always make sure to reserve Deluxe category rooms for our tour members.

We always ensure that we secure excellent seats for performances and events. Seats between the 5th and 10th rows in the central orchestra section of most venues offer the best experience for opera. Depending on the venue, we may also choose box seats or front-row grand-tier seats.

Guided tours typically involve walking, sometimes on cobblestone streets, and generally last up to three hours. We generally provide transfers for tour events requiring more than a 10-minute walk at a reasonable pace.

Please inform us of any dietary concerns or allergies when booking your tour. We will coordinate with our meal providers to accommodate your needs as best as possible. Our meal providers are experienced in catering to various dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and food allergies. However, please note that while we will do our best to meet your needs, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free meal.

We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that additional room nights are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

You have several payment options, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover or via wire transfer, in USD only. We kindly encourage payment by check or bank transfer. We are an American based company, so the tour costs are quoted in USD and inclusive of all taxes and fees. Making initial deposit is required to reserve your spot on the tour and you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance, due 45 days before the tour start date.

Reserving your space on one of our tours is a straightforward process. A deposit of $2500 USD per person is all it takes to secure your place. If you register for a tour that begins within 60 days of your registration, full payment is required.

The single supplement covers the additional cost of single occupant in hotel rooms. Hotels typically charge more for single occupancy, and the supplement ensures that we can offer all travelers the same level of service and accommodation. The single supplement is a fixed fee per night and varies depending on the tour. Please refer to the tour details for the specific single supplement amount.
